Kaplan Scholars featured on WABC-TV and CBS Radio!
We’re so happy to share that the Kaplan Educational Foundation and our Scholars were recently featured on WABC-TV and CBS Radio here in New York City.

In an interview with Sandra Bookman on W-ABC‘s “Here and Now” program, which is dedicated to covering the latest issues, trends and news stories impacting the black community, Yolanda Watson, Cohort 8, joined me to discuss her journey to Smith College, the work we’re doing to make sure students like her can transfer to top schools, and our new publication Your 2018 Guide to College Transfer. Click here to watch.

Airing the same day (February 4) was an interview on “The Bob Salter Show” on CBS Radio. Lavar Thomas, Cohort 5, and I joined Bob to discuss Lavar’s transfer to Clark University, his time working in Rwanda, and how the Foundation supported his development as a change agent. Click here to listen.
